In South Korea, you can now pay for goods and services with Mir cards. The NSPK informs that the list of countries that accept cards of the Russian payment system has grown.

As the technical support office of the payment system told Interfax, in South Korea it is possible to pay for purchases in some devices of the BC Card payment system. However, cash withdrawals using the Mir cards are not available at the moment in South Korea.

BC Card is the largest payment processing company in South Korea, serving over three million merchants. It began cooperation with the National Payment Card System (NSPK) in 2020. The first tests were carried out in December 2020.

Thus, Mir cards are currently accepted in 11 countries: Turkey, Vietnam, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, South Ossetia, Abkhazia and South Korea.
