The RF Ministry of Digital Development begins the implementation of GosData.hub, a project that will pool anonymized data flows from government agencies.

With the automated generation of documents by given algorithms, the National Data Lake will systematize the storage and processing of data for government analytical services, simplify reporting to government agencies and budgetary organizations. Depersonalized on the side of the data provider, all collected data will enter the lake in an anonymized form.

“GosData.hub will pool depersonalized data of authorities at all levels and allow the advanced analytics to be generated. First of all, we will launch analytics services for IT and communications. The state will motivate businesses to provide anonymized data in certain areas that are critical for the public administration system. Data exchange will operate in a two-way format: depersonalized data from state datasets can also be used by businesses to develop their own solutions,” says head of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev.

Initially, the datasets collected in the GosData.hub will be available to government agencies. Later on, however, businesses will also have access to them. For this purpose, a data market, a public circuit of the National Data Management System (Russian acronym NSUD), will be formed.
