Researchers named m-apps most popular with Russians
Among Russian applications, the VKontakte application held the top spot (60% of respondents install it), followed by Sberbank Online (38%), and Yandex (10%).

Researchers asked respondents which apps they install first and which they use in general. With respect to the first criterion, Mail.ru is the leader among mail applications (35.4% of respondents), followed by Gmail (34.5%) and Yandex.Mail (25.4%).
By the second criterion, the mail service Gmail is in the lead (73% of respondents use it). Yandex.Pochta (69.8%) and Mail.ru (64.3%) are on the second and third places, respectively.
Among social networks, VKontakte turned out to be the most popular one – the application is first of all installed by 56.6% of respondents. 29.4% install Instagram first.
Foreign companies are leaders in the browsers and messengers categories only. Thus, the Google Chrome browser is first installed by 38.8% of users, and the WhatsApp messenger – by 61% of Russians.
