Alfa-Bank and Beeline launch joint service to combat cyber fraud
If the operator during the consultation finds that the client needs the bank's help, then the call is transferred directly to the bank's support service. The clients do not need to call the bank themselves and explain the situation again.
The joint service allows saving clients' time and minimizing risks. Since the problem is immediately escalated to the bank, response time to potential fraud becomes shorter, thus reducing the probability of financial losses.
Both support services are available 24/7. The service operates duly no matter what method fraudsters could use to gain access to the codes from the text message. If the client accidentally disclosed such codes to third parties, s/he will be immediately redirected to Alfa-Bank to be protected against fraud.
The service is already available to all Alfa-Bank and Beeline clients.
Petr Alferov, Beeline Anti-Fraud Director:
“In the first 4 months of 2025, more than 33 thousand people contacted our rapid response team, of which more than 4.9 thousand contacted us regarding hacking of bank accounts. When it comes to fraud, especially hacking of a bank account, every minute counts. Now instead of two calls - one. Instead of repeated explanations - instant help. This is not just a service, but a shield that we have built together with Alfa-Bank so that clients could feel: their safety is our shared responsibility. The service not only saves time, but also works proactively - instantly transmits alarm signals to the bank, minimizing risks. This is a new standard of customer care, where technology and partnerships work for their peace of mind.”
Evgeny Vinokurov, Head of Alfa Bank Directorate for cyber fraud prevention:
“Telephone fraud is certainly a major threat that almost everyone is familiar with. In order to effectively combat it, not only the personal readiness of a specific company is required, but also the desire to join forces. Our project with Beeline is another step in this direction. I am confident that such efforts will become a sustainable trend in the financial market.”
