Russia’s Central Bank and Finance Ministry agree on draft law on using cryptocurrencies in cross-border settlements
“As you have heard, the Central Bank also believes that cross-border settlements in cryptocurrencies are permissible,” he said. “Now we have a draft law already agreed in this part with the Central Bank.”
According to the Deputy Finance Minister, the document as a whole describes how cryptocurrency can be purchased, what can be done with it, and how it can or cannot be used, first of all, in cross-border settlements.
