Ozon Bank installs its first ATMs
ATMs will be located both at Ozon pick-up points and at third-party locations, such as shopping centers and offline stores.
No-fee cash withdrawals at partner ATMs will be still available for clients.
“In just a few years, our small portfolio of financial services has been developed into a full-fledged bank used by millions of people. Despite the high level of online banking adoption, some clients who use cash need offline contact with the bank, so we decided not only to go ahead with our online development, but also to “reach out to the world” using ATMs. By the end of this year, we will be expanding the network, studying the demand and locations convenience, with a decision on further scaling to follow,” commented Ozon Fintech CEO Vahe Ovasapyan.
At the ATM, the client will be able to withdraw and deposit cash using any debit and credit cards of the Mir, Visa and Mastercard payment systems (as for Visa and Mastercard, it only refers to cards issued by Russian banks). In the future, the ATMs functionality will be supplemented by new inventions and products of the bank.
