First Islamic DFAs to be placed on SPB Exchange platform

The SPB Exchange has provided its infrastructure for the first issueance of Islamic digital financial assets (DFAs). The resolution authorizing the first issuance of Islamic DFAs was published on the SPB Exchange website. 

The issuer, Agregat-Chelny, plans to raise financing in the amount of 5 million rubles for business development. The compliance of  the resolution provisions with the norms of Sharia was confirmed by the company Zolotoy Sunduk, the exchange reports.  

“The legal consultant and organizer of the placement were the companies “We Unite Technologies” and “Universal Blockchain”. SPB Bank, the settlement depository of the SPB Exchange, became the nominal holder of the issued DFAs. Bookbuilding is currently underway,” they added. 

“Digital financial assets are a convenient and flexible tool for fund raising, in particular in accordance with the norms of Islamic finance”, a representative of the SPB Exchange commented.
